We aim to elucidate the molecular mechanism and pathological processes of various neurological diseases including neurodegenerative disorders. We are currently developing disease-modifying therapies and biomarkers for dementia and neurodegenerative disorders based on pathogenesis.
Our lab is located on the third floor of a building at the heart of Shiga University of Medical Science. My dedication to research stems from a simple yet strong motivation—enjoyment. This commitment remains unwavering, and I aim to foster a research environment where joy permeates both basic and applied research. Given the compact size of our lab, we prioritize unconventional approaches over "predictable harmony" and strive to make meaningful contributions from a Blue Ocean perspective, working towards overcoming neurological diseases.
