Ishigaki Lab@Miidera Temple, Otsu (O-Hanami !)
Our lab members visited the ancient temple Mii-dera in Otsu City for cherry blossom viewing during the special nighttime visit. The “Moon-Watching Stage,” located on the top of a hill in the wide temple area, opened privately for each group. Its view and ambiance was truly a “magic hour.” International students were greatly impressed by their first O-Hanami (cherry blossom viewing) experience!
