Development of novel biomarkers focusing on higher brain dysfunction observed in FTLD.

We are developing a probabilistic reversal learning (PRL) task system for FTLD model marmosets and analyzing macro neuronal circuits regulating PRL tasks in order to establish a translational test battery applicable to both patient and animal models. We will also establish a feeding behavior battery for marmosets by quantifying their feeding patterns, including food preferences. Moreover, we will clarify the mechanism of aberrant feeding patterns by investigating alterations in neuronal circuits in mouse models.
